WHERE WE ATE
Draft | Serving up to 69 beers on tap and 30+ bottles of a wide variety of craft beers.
I really wanted to eat at Cannonball but it wasn’t open yet so we snagged a table on the outside patio. Draft is located directly on the Mission Beach boardwalk, which was a great spot for people watching as well as views of the beach.
We shared the shredded beef nachos, a couple of burgers and the tomato and spicy fennel sausage flatbread, which was bomb!
Sweet Shoppe | Serving up homemade fudge, ice cream, candy apples, cotton candy, and frozen bananas.
After a heavy lunch, we thought for some reason ice cream sounded like a good idea. The waffle cones only come in one size (monster) so it was a smart choice that we decided to share.
AMUSEMENT PARK RIDES
Giant Dipper Roller Coaster | Built in 1925, this wooden roller coaster is the park’s most iconic attraction and is even considered a local landmark.
Beach Blaster | This ride swings passengers 60 feet in the air to 120 degrees in both directions while spinning.
Control Freak | You’re in control as you power forward, backward, and upside down while spinning around.
Octotron | A coaster-like track where you decide how much you spin and how fast to go.
Overdrive Bumper Cars | An amusement park classic with electric powered cars.
Krazy Kars | A twist on the classic bumper car attraction.
Tilt-a-Whirl | This old-fashioned ride will spin, whirl and tilt you with fury.
Vertical Plunge | Get lifted 3 stories in the are before a drop to the bottom.

WHAT WE DID
Jaxon was only tall enough to go on the carousel so we just walked around, had lunch then grabbed an ice cream. Daddy did win him this super cool stuffed skeleton though!
