WHAT WE DID
First at foremost, parking is horrible, but then again that’s how I feel entirely about California in general. The shop is located down a one-way street so naturally, I had to circle the block 3 times before finding a 15-minute minute parking spot.
Jason ran in while the rest of us waiting in the car and was able to skip the line as we had pre-ordered the night before. Pre-ordering is encouraged on their website as they sell out daily. You do, however, have to order at least a dozen and can only do so between 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm the day before.
The shop serves a variety of gourmet sized donuts ranging anywhere from $2-$5 (including vegan choices) as well as coffee, beer, and mimosas.
A few of the donuts we had were as followed: French Toast Donut, Apple Fritter, Birthday Cake Oreo, Red Velvet, Strawberries & Cream, and Peanut Butter & Jelly. The donuts were very delicious and I was surprised at how huge some of them were. I was however very disappointed 3 of the donuts we pre-ordered were not included, mainly the Big Poppa Tart Donut (which was one of the main reasons I wanted to check the place out), bummer!
Overall the Donut Bar lived up to the hype and we were happy to cross it off our bucket list.
Jaxon certainly approved!
